really s**t to hear your backs bad mate and i hope you all the best, my back has been bad from overtraining, not stretching and having piss poor technique but when it went and i started doing all the things i should have from the start (stretching, resting and listening to my boddy) it has felt much better, not trained heavy deads or anything to strenuos for a while but i know going into next sunday i should be ok so i hope you feel the same when it comes to competing at u90's because with your strength now you will do damage at the comp so make the comp and rest up f**ker Grin

It's like dropping weight and working on not hitching deadlifts, you need to kick your pride out the door or say goodbye to comfortable training.

Easy to get carried away when training with the guys you do, but 50kg jumps on deadlift isn't going to do you very much good now is it, 10 reps isn't going to warm you or your back up too nicely for some max effort s**t.
Neither is 4-5 singles on the cleans!

You've made a s**t TON of progress, if you DON'T train till the u90 north you'd still beat the likes of me and others but you have to take a step back and get things sorted otherwise you'll continue hobbling around like an old man. It's all very well lifting with Kev, Trav, Marko but they've been doing this s**t for YEARS, it's no coincidence they have cores of steel from doing f**koff big squats for ten years most days of the week and putting big ass weights overhead, pace yourself a bit after this comp and don't f**k your training up otherwise you will be posting "no fire in belly.. what a s**t day :/" bulls**t facebook statuses all the time again Happy

Have a REST boyo and you'll go farther than you can imagine, it helps to take a step back sometimes. Yes, consider yourself minor-bollocked.

sports massage preliminaraly booked after easter weekend + no training at least till wednesday so ill have a plan formulated by then hopefully

cheers beard.... no training till wednesday and 4 days of work will help no end.. i plan to really up the eating aswell in the next few days so ill come back pretty good + cautious aswell haha

had an amazing session today!

planned on some very light cleans and front squats to strech my back... to which i was meeted with trav!!!

trav told me to lie down on the floor with my arse out he pushed his thumb in my lower back.... i nearly cried... back felt amazing after it!

then i jus f**ked about with some cleans up to very easy 70kg

did 5 deadlifts with 100kg and felt some soreness so left it there!

i will be employing trav for the next few weeks to fix me... so he is now Dr Trav
